New beauty habits to start in 2016!
Busy making a list of things you're going to do better in 2016? While you are busy, why not add some beauty habits that you can start with, in 2016. It’s that time of year again, New year, New me. Don’t know where to start, well…good thing you’ve got us.
First thing first, always put in your share of beauty sleep. Getting enough quality rest prevents fine lines, pigmentation and puffiness. Sleeping not only makes your skin look radiant, but helps you feel good and ready to take on the world.
Second habit: Always get into the habit of cleansing your face. It is important for us to wash our faces morning and night. Every day the skin is aging, and washing your face at night before going to bed is an excellent way to keep your face beautiful and looking younger.
Third habit: Remember to remove your make-up before sleeping. Overnight, the skin needs oxygen to repair itself. And sleeping with your makeup on deprives it of this vital nutrient. When makeup is left on, it blocks the natural exfoliating process, which can leave your skin looking dull.
Fourth Habit: Keep your face hydrated by moisturizing it. Keeping your face moisturized helps keep your skin looking radiant and glowing throughout the day.
Fifth habit: Exfoliate everywhere. By removing dead skin cells from all over the body is important because it allows moisturiser to really absorb into the skin. Plus, it increases body circulation and texture of the skin allowing you to get a closer shave!
Sixth habit: Protect your skin from the sun. If you want to have beautiful and healthy skin for a longer period of time, don’t neglect sunscreen.
Seventh habit: Makeup tip, always make sure your makeup brushes are cleaned. A clean makeup brush gives you a flawless makeup look. Washing your makeup brushes once a week is prefect. Just dump the brush into warm soapy water and rinse with lukewarm water. Blot with a towel and leave your brushes to dry overnight.
Last but not least: Drink a lot of water. Make sure to start your day off with a glass of water. You can add some lemon and honey for that extra flavour boost. Water helps flush toxins from the body, and hydrates your whole system, making your skin look fresh, healthy and beautiful.
