IMBALIE BEAUTY NOW READY TO BLOOM

The Imbalie Beauty group is excited to kick off 2022 with a new name and will now be known as the i-BLOOM group.

The Imbalie Beauty Group Limited successfully delisted it’s subsidiaries from the JSE on the 17th January, as a requirement from the group’s bankers, after receiving a COVID loan in October 2020. This provided the perfect opportunity for the group to continue with their vision of being the leading and most desirable skin care, beauty and wellness solutions group, nationally and internationally, but under their new name.

The i-BLOOM name was initially birthed within the group, during 21 difficult trading months within the beauty industry due to the COVID pandemic, with the launch of the i-BLOOM magazine in September 2020. The magazine was designed to offer their customers the best in skin care, haircare and beauty solutions and the group is proud to have launched the fifth edition so far.

This was followed, In October 2020, with the establishment of the i-BLOOM Beauty and Wellness Academy, an international online educational and training platform, for empowering and developing professionals within the beauty and wellness industry. As the name began to develop within the group, the exciting final step was the launch of the first i-BLOOM salon, and the group has already opened their first i-BLOOM by Placecol skin, hair beauty salon at Chartwell Corner, Fourways, in January 2022.

The new salon will fall under the i-BLOOM group’s franchise division, along with the other leading beauty franchises, Placecol, Dream Nails Beauty and Perfect 10. In addition, the group will continue to operate its products division, which houses the award-winning professional salon grade skin care brands, Placecol, INNOXA and Skinderm, as well its educational division with the i-BLOOM Beauty and Wellness Academy.  “Over the last 40 years, we have built our product lines and beauty salon franchise groups on the foundations of education and excellence, and we look forward to continuing this legacy under our new name” says Esna Colyn, CEO of i-BLOOM Solutions.

“Our new i-BLOOM identity is aligned with our values which are flourish, teamwork, integrity, beauty and respect.  My heart is full of gratitude towards our shareholders, our board, and our exceptional team, who had the courage to make bold and strategic long-term business decisions in the interest of all our stakeholders” says Esna. “I am also exceptionally proud of every salon owner who fought hard to keep the doors of their beauty salons open during this pandemic.

As the group forges ahead with its great plans for the year ahead, it will be entrenching their theme of the year ‘NextLevel’ across all the divisions, including with ongoing summits to grow business leaders and their teams. This is part of the fully integrated and proven beauty business solution that the group is excited to be implementing to enable the entire group to flourish and bloom, after the severe trading conditions of the last two years.

“The INNOXA vegan skin care range has strategically been launched into our group to attract younger consumers and also to assist our budget-conscious consumers, who were affected by Covid-19.  A big thank you to our training and marketing teams who worked non-stop to launch INNOXA vegan skin care successfully into the market place” says Esna Colyn.

EXCITEMENT MOUNTS AS A NEW INNOXA VEGAN, ECO-FRIENDLY SKIN CARE RANGE WITH VEGAN FACIALS, IS LAUNCHED BY THE IMBALIE BEAUTY GROUP

The 100 year old INNOXA skin care brand is back with a bang! The Imbalie Beauty Group has re-launched an eco-friendly and newly formulated INNOXA product range in all of their Dream Nails, Placecol and Perfect 10 salons nationwide, as well as online.

The newly launched range epitomizes the original INNOXA tag line of FIRST DO NO HARM, which has always been at the core of this iconic brand. However, it has now been raised to a whole new level to appeal not only to previous INNOXA fans, but also to the ever-growing environmentally conscious consumer, especially millennials and gen-Zs, ensuring that the brand is on trend and aligned to today’s customer demand.  The range is now vegan friendly, contains many natural and sustainably sourced ingredients within the new formulations, and the tubes within the range are predominantly made up of sustainably sourced sugar cane. All the products are either biodegradable or recyclable, are paraben and allergen free and therefore kind enough for sensitive skins.

The formulations are packed with powerful actives such as peptides, vitamins B, C and E, super oils and antioxidants, but the uniqueness is in the many sustainably sourced ingredients within the range, as well as the multi-purpose functionality and sensorial experience of each product. Nine of the products in the range contain shea butter which has been sustainably sourced from a women’s tribe in Ethiopia, whilst others include sustainably sourced ingredients, such as sunflower extract, yacon extract, moss and kelp extracts, fruit enzymes, squalene, chia seed oil and rosehip oil, to name just a few.

With just 22 products in the range, including unique cleansers, multi-purpose masks and colour coded serums for specific skin concerns, even the names are appealing.  There’s the CleanCalm Gel-to-Milk Cleanser, which turns into a soothing and calming milky cleanser, the soft and fluffy Cloud Touch SOS Calming Mask with marshmallow extract, the Fruit Detox Foliant Gelée Mask with sustainably sourced papaya and pineapple enzymes with strawberry and cranberry scrub and the ZoneProtect SPF30 Sunscreen, which uses eco-friendly UV filters and sustainably sourced ingredients to provide added protection against blue light emissions from our cell phones and computer screens.

The simple and minimalist packaging, with a beautiful matt texture in nudes and soft pastels,  displays beautifully on retail shelves, in the bathroom or on a dressing table ensuring that this fresh, unique and gender neutral range, appeals to a wide range of customers. It is already being well embraced by teens, young professionals and budget conscious individuals, due to the affordable pricing and the eco-friendly aspect.

“Our salon owners are very excited to bring this new range into their beauty salons, at a time where the trading environment is still tough as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and are also happy to be aligned with the latest consumer trends” says Esna Colyn, CEO of Imbalie Beauty.  “Furthermore, our salons have launched five new INNOXA Vegan facials at a launch price of less than R400, to give INNOXA brand lovers and new to INNOXA customers, the opportunity to come in and experience the new upgraded range first hand” she adds.

Under the leadership of Lisa Leibov, Principal of the iBLOOM Beauty and Wellness Academy, the entire group of therapists are currently being educated on the INNOXA treatment protocols and product knowledge, to ensure that all salons provide levels of service excellence to all their valued customers.

INNOXA products are available at Dream Nails Beauty salons, Placecol skin care clinics Perfect 10 studios and Edgars nationally, as well as online on www.dreamnails.co.zawww.placecol.com and www.perfect10.co.za.
